I had a facelift 1 year ago. I am very unhappy with my earlobes. One earlobe is mildly “pixie” looking and the other earlobe the scar pulled away from the natural crease of my ealobe. I believe there was too much tension in this area I currently have no loose skin so do I need to wait for my skin to relax before fixing? Also I have moved from where I originally had surgery and my surgeon retired so I am looking forward a FL revision specialist in the Pittsburgh area. Thank you

Depending on how stuck it is, removal may be performed in your surgeon’s office under local anesthetic. The cost would vary. In Toronto ON where my practice is located, this procedure may be covered under OHIP.
Attaching the ear to the face will result in an appearance called a smeared ear and is not attractive. I suggest you wait the 12 months and reassess things. I would not recommend eliminating the gap between the ear and the face.
