I had a septoplasty 2 years ago. I would like to get a septum piercing. Would this be okay?

I had a septoplasty 2 years ago. I would like to get a septum piercing... would this be ok? I know my surgeon was against them in general, but I am more concerned with the real likelihood of damage based on the piercing being done correctly. Thanks!

It's really difficult to tell without preoperative photos and a better postoperative frontal view.  It's a question best answered by your plastic surgeon as he is the only one who really knows what took place.  Even if you do need a revision, it is best to wait at least 12 mos to allow...
