What is success rate of septoplasty? Is there anywhere where I can pull up the statistic of septoplasty surgeries?

I am curious to find out what is a success rate of septoplasty? Something like a sensus bureau or overall hospital statistic would be an incredible help. Any personal experience by the surgeons would be a great addition as well. Hoping there will be some good samaritans to help me with this question. Thank you!

The usual success rate is more than 90% but the key is proper diagnosis. If the nasal obstruction is from allergies or other factors and not from deviated septum then it will fail. RegardsDr. Janjua

In our practice, septoplasty is very successful, the failure rate is quite low.  Allergies can compound nasal obstruction, so it's important to make sure those are addressed. Choose your septoplasty surgeon based on extensive experience

Dear Murzin82, If a proper diagnosis is made and the cause of your breathing difficulties are due to a deviated septum then the surgery is very successful. I personally perform many septoplasty procedures weekly and patients have increased airflow and excellent results.
