I had a breast reduction June 4th and everything is healing up fine. My nipples are someheeys uneven and I have these folds or whatever they are on the side of my boobs. My doctor's PA told me I shouldnt worry that maybe my left boob dropped and my right boob hasn't dropped yet and is still swollen.Do I need a revision??
Answer: Will I need a revision? Dear lyndres30,It is too early in your healing process to determine whether or not you need a revision. You need to wait a good 4-6 months before determining if a revision will be necessary.Good luck,Nirmal R. Answer: Dog Ears Will Settle Down The excess tissue at the end of your incision are some bunching called 'dog ears'. Happily, a lot of this will go away in the first 6-12 months. Discuss optimal scar care with you PS. This will help too. Nipple asymmetry may be due to asymmetric swelling, and some mild asymmetry may be tolerated. Give it 6-12 months as many issues will resolve with time, and if a revision is needed, it will be smaller and easier, and mor precise.

Answer: Does this look normal Hello, thank you for your recent question and photos! I know we often want that perfect end result look right away after surgery, however this can sometimes take time and patience. The tissues will relax in time and you will have a softer look of the incisions with time. I would not recommend a revision of any time till 3-6 months as your body needs to heal and you may not even need one. I would recommend staying in touch with your surgeon and revisit the breasts in a few months. Best of luck!
