Is this normal after a chemical peel? (photo)

Your response is not atypical after chemical peel, however, I would need to know the type and strength of chemical peel to provide you a complete answer. It looks like you have acne in this area and the skin has been irritated from the peel. Without knowing what type of peel you had done, it is hard to determine your appropriate response. It like like this should heal up fine as long as you are following the post procedure protocol your provided instructed you with. I would recommend you follow up with your physician as well to make sure you have the appropriate post peel materials as well as medications to be treating your acne. 

It appears that you had extensive acne which needed to be cleaned and should take a week to heal. I would encourage you to follow up with your physician to find out what antibiotic or other treatment you should be using. Best, Dr. Green
