How Much Physical Pressure Can Cause Fat Cell Death?

             Trauma to fat can cause cell death, but massage would have to apply enough pressure to cause this.

Not certain why a massage is needed. Certainly applying too much pressure could kill the fat graft and/ or displace the at to an unwanted location. See your plastic surgeon to get specifics on his/her protocol.

I do not know why you need to massage the fat around the eye with such amount of pressure. Fat cells are very sensitive to pressure and may cause fat necrosis. The fat cells would die at the pressure that would block the circulation, then the fat cell would die.
