I feel as though my final result is small! I had my post op visit and told doc I am really disappointed that these aren't bigger as discussed leaning toward a larger C/D and I do not have cleavage. He said as the swelling subsides near my sternum (which I think there is none) then cleavage will be present and that they have to drop into place more and as swelling goes down I will look and feel more full. I said they are pretty so I didn't hurt his feelings. But when swelling subsides won't size?
Answer: I'm 9 days po and unhappy with the size. Natrelle 440cc gummy bears with peri-areolar lift. Will they get bigger? I'm sorry to hear about the anxiety you are experiencing after breast surgery. Given that you are very “fresh” out of surgery, it is quite likely that you are experiencing significant “emotional ups and downs” unnecessarily. In other words, it is much too early to evaluate the outcome of the procedure performed; your breasts will undoubtedly change over the course of the next several weeks/months. Many of my patients report that as the swelling around the breast implants (for example, in the sternal area) decreases, they feel that their breasts appear more projecting. Also, in my opinion, the "drop and fluff” phenomenon does hold some validity; as breast implants “settle”, many patients feel that their breasts actually look larger. Although online consultants cannot predict whether or not you will be pleased with the long-term outlook, of the procedure performed, it is safe to predict that the breasts will change. Do your best to stay emotionally even keeled. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be pleased with longer-term.

Answer: I'm 9 days po and unhappy with the size. Natrelle 440cc gummy bears with peri-areolar lift. Will they get bigger? At only 9 days post operative your still very early in the healing process. Your implants are sitting high. With time they will come down making your lower pole more full. Wait a full 3 months to evaluate the final result and true size. Best of luck.

Answer: I Am 9 Days Post Op, I Think My Breasts Look Much Smaller Than I Anticipated - Will They Get Bigger? Congratulations on what appears to be a very well done Benelli mastopexy with implants. The filler within the implant is being smashed backwards and upwards by the muscle, and the nature of the circumareolar suture that is present around your areola also tends to flatten the breast early on. Therefore, the visual effect you are seeing at this point is much flatter than it will be in a month or two. Your muscles have to relax, your skin has to relax, and the tight circumareolar suture holding your lift together at this point must also relax. Once all three of these normal occurrences happen, your breasts will look and feel bigger to you. Secondly, you are going through what is known as the "Booby Blues" - kind of a cute name actually. I think the cuteness defines the fact that although you are worried at this point, it will all improve and you just need to take a deep breath, trust your surgeon, and give yourself and your surgery time. The temporary distortion of your breasts coupled with the discomfort you are experiencing coupled with the normal fear that things may not work out the way you wanted them are really what the Booby Blues are all about. No one can promise you, at this point, that the final size of your breasts is going to be exactly what you are looking for, but I bet you did your homework, worried a lot about what size you wanted, spent time picking just the right surgeon. Now it is time to trust - trust that you did the right thing, and I can't say for sure, but I bet things will work out just the way you had planned them.

Answer: 9 days PO BA Hi and thanks for your question and posted photos. I start saying I would have liked seeing a before pic without bra to see if there was ptosis and the size of your breasts. Perhaps bigger implants were not going to fit in your breasts, this means there would be too much tension to close incisions, 440cc may be very big for your muscle so it is contractured and that´s why they llok to high, this is very common in under muscle for several weeks. Stabilizer band could help make them settle.Best wishes.Dr. Milla
