It is extremely rare for this to occur after a tummy tuck. It is important that we all understand no surgery is minor, but still usually is very safe. I would resonate that you make sure you are having surgery at an accredited facility and are seeing a board certified plastic surgeon. Does that guarantee that this would not happen?
