It takes most patients about a week to get back to normal and easy-going activity like driving, desk work, etc. It takes about four weeks to get back to full activities with no restrictions. #StayBeautiful @RealDrWorldWide
Thank you for your question. Recovery after a breast augmentation can be very straight forward with the right surgeon. Precise technique with minimal trauma leads to little pain after surgery, with many of our patients going out for dinner the same night after surgery. The first stage of rcovery should take a bout a week and slowly improving for around 3 months. With liposuction and BBL patients can return to light activities almost immediately after surgery, normal activities 2 weeks after surgery, and vigorous exercise 4 weeks after surgery. We usually experience a slow steady improvement for 3 months or so after surgery.
Six weeks is the average, but recovery time will vary greatly with the patient and the skill of the surgeon. I perform this combination of procedures at the same time on healthy patients. In the postoperative period there are ways to manage the areas so that pressure is not placed on the buttocks and hips. This will depend upon your surgeon's preference and how each of the surgeries is performed. I allow patients to sleep on their sides. Patients can also rest in other positions as long as the other areas do not receive pressure. There are creative ways to manage this.Look for a board certified plastic surgeon (BCPS) who is skilled at both procedures, has favorable patient reviews, and hundreds of before and after photos on his or her website. Thank you for sharing your question with us. We're are always looking forward helping you with your surgery. The recovery period for BA and BBL should be around 4 weeks. Dr. Derby Sang Caputo, MD. Plastic Surgeon / Dominican Republic
Always follow the post op instructions of your surgeon who is familiar with your health history and specific case following these procedures. For my patients following surgery, patients are placed in a compression garment to assist with swelling; this garment needs to be worn for four to six weeks, depending on their rate of healing and the individual person. There will be swelling and soreness of the buttocks area, and any discomfort the patient is feeling during this time can be relieved using prescribed pain medication. Sitting or lying on the back should be avoided for the first week or two after surgery, and cushions should be placed under the buttocks for several weeks afterwards, to avoid putting pressure on the buttocks while it heals. Patients should avoid sitting on anything hard, like a metal chair or wood barstool.Brazilian butt lift patients can usually return to work after two weeks, and resume exercise after four weeks. The results of the surgery are immediately noticeable, with the final results gradually appearing over time and shown in full three or more months after the procedure.
Your recovery depends on how much fat grafting your surgeon anticipates and how much liposuction is ultimately performed. Your breast augmentation should be quick, the recovery from your Brazilian butt lift is typically about 2 weeks before normal sitting and routine activities are resumed. Visit with your surgeon about the specific considerations for your case.Best wishes
You need an expert at liposuction to perform the procedure and it does not matter if a laser is used or not. However, if you want that fat to live in the buttocks and hips it should not be subjected to heat from a laser. The tummy tuck will be necessary in the future for optimal results. ...
