Got filler (don't know what kind) in my nasolabial folds and injector said it needs to be superficial but now it's very lumpy like little worms right under my skin. Fix main line but created a new one that's wide on one side. Suggestions on how to fix?

Answer: Bumps and Lumps normal to feel, not to See After 3-5 days, you should no longer see any bumps and lumps although you may feel them. It's ok if you feel them, but don't see them. If you do see them, go back to your provider to have them evaluate and massage them out if necessary. I wouldn't try to massage them yourself since you could lose too much volume. In the end, it is likely this can be fixed easily so you are happy. best of luck, Dr. Giordano

Answer: Lumpy filler in Nasal labial folds You do not say how long ago you had the filler placed. There may be some swelling around the filler which may make it feel lumpy. A lot depends on what filler was used as well. Some fillers are meant to pull in water and soften over time. Others are "stiffer". I would wait at least 2 weeks before retreating the area. Gentle massage may help to soften the lumps. After 2 weeks if you are still having problems I would contact the provider. If an HA filler was used, it can be dissolved.
