Dentist promised a warranty on veneers. After paying they altered what they pitched to me. Can I get my money back?

Hi from Phoenix, Arizona ! I am sorry you are in this position with your dentist! It is very uncomfortable for you and I understand, somewhere along the line, there was miscommunication. Unfortunately, you trusted your dentist . You should have been shown the warranty in writing and signed it before you started your veneers. The warranty obviously does not cover Veneers and only crowns. There is obviously miscommunication between what the dentist promised orally to you. If there was another person in the room with you when he promised the 7 years warranty on your veneers, there is a chance it will hold up under a breach of an oral contract since there is a witness to the discussion.  You did not mention if the staff was involved in this or who gave you the paperwork. I think you need to speak with the dentist and say you felt deceived and would have never had the veneers done without the 7 year warranty in place in writing and signed. I would try to work something out with him first and see where it  goes from there. Dentists do not want bad reviews and I am assured they do not want to got to court over a breach of contract dispute. If you had an oral agreement with him and no one witnessed the discussion, it will not hold up in court. If there is a signed document in place that is different . Unfortunately the document was not applicable to the Veneers. I would try to work things out amicably with the doctor first and good luck!

If they are not installed , you can still ask for your money back, he can cancel the lab order and you will have the warranty,the most important thing here is the doctors confidence you have and if you do not have it even before they have not place them in , i suggest not to continue , because this will be a problem sooner or later , some doctors give warranty on veneers , on dental tourism could be 5 or 10 years if he does not give you the warranty , tell him your discomfort , and your thoughs.there is always a solution.
