Cost of tip only rhinoplasty? Plus recovery time? (Photo)

A "tip plasty" has the same recovery as a full rhinoplasty. I'd love to give you more info, but those photos really don't show your nose very well at all!Anyway, though, be sure to read the section in the "Learn more" link on how to stay out of trouble while searching for a rhinoplasty surgeon. Rhinoplasty is an exquisitely difficult operation to get right, particularly with tip surgery, and you should only have surgery if you are able to make yourself very confident in your surgeon's skills. Read that page very carefully. 
I usually make computer morphs when I'm answering questions like this, to show the changes that are possible for a nose with a rhinoplasty, but unfortunately the photos you submitted aren't good enough for making morphs. Hello!Thank you for your question! Rhinoplasty pricing varies depending on location and if the surgeon is a specialist. It is important to note that there is different types of rhinoplasty, open (incision made outside) and closed scarless (all incisions made inside). The different type of rhinoplasty can also change the pricing of the procedure. I suggest consulting with a Board- Certified plastic surgeon to examine your concerns. Recovery time also depends on if you do an open vs. closed rhinoplasty. With a closed rhinoplasty recovery time can be much quicker with minimal bruising and cast will come off on day 5 or 7.

Yes, you can have a nasal tip procedure. If you look at case numbers 2460 and 2453 in the web link below, you can see how the nasal tip shape can be changed. In terms of cost, best to 2-3 visits with board certified plastic surgeons in your area as the cost varies in different locations in the country. photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can
accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your
lower nose. Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise.  Make
sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients
who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer
animation system. The most important aspect is to find a
surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a
qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Tip refinement rhinoplasty can take 1-3 hours depending on the surgeon's expertise, the anatomy, the goals, and other factors. Ballpark costs may be between $6k and over 10k in southern California; I do not know the pricing in Phoenix but I'm sure there is similar variability.  A formal binding quote is not usually provided until the patient is seen in consultation, though some surgeons publish pricing and others use tools like BuildMyBod to provide rough estimates for patients based on wishlists.Regarding recovery, most patients have obvious bruising and swelling for about 10 days, with final subsiding of swelling taking many months. The majority of the swelling that would be apparent to casual observers is resolved by 4-6 weeks in many patients; the nasal splinting and/or packing is usually removed in the first week.

Costs of plastic surgery depend on the location, how expensive your area is in general, and also the reputation and experience of your plastic surgeon.  You can call a few surgeon offices in the area, and most should be able to give you a cost estimate (or a reasonable range) for what you're looking for.  Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons. Most patients must undergo a full rhinoplasty to ensure that all the components of the nose are balanced with themselves, and the entire new  nose balances with the patient's facial features.
