What treatment, if any, will be successful in getting rid of these dimples. I am otherwise fit and very happy with my body from the front haha.
Answer: Subcision+Filler Can Work Well For Dimpled Cellulite From the photos, it appears that the predominant problem is one of large dimpled cellulite. In my experience, most devices for treating cellulite, including lasers, have proven of questionable value, with results being subtle, inconsistent and variable and thus pretty much a waste of money. Cellfina is essentially a bells and whistles subcision device, and rigorous science and to my knowledge to date no head to head large scale trials involving significant numbers of patients exist to prove that it is really better than ordinary, relatively quick and inexpensive manually performed subcision (with or without the addition of a biostimulatory volumizing filler). Subcision, using appropriately sized trochars, needles and cannulas, on the other hand, has a track record of being used for over two decades to treat dimpled cellulite. When dealing with the wavy form of cellulite, body vectoring, a variation of a skin boostering injection technique using biostimulatory fillers, may be used to tighten and smooth the skin . For more on subcision and the body vectorinig technique, check out the archives of RealSelf.com. Save your time and money jumping from one to another "next best thing" devices to come along and instead make certain that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician. And ask to see his/her before and after photos. Best of luck.

Answer: Cellulite treatment There are many ways to deal with cellulite both surgical and non-surgical. On the non-surgical front, we have two technologies that we can use - either the VelaSmooth or SmoothShapes device. Dr. Kulick published peer review papers regarding the effectiveness of these two devices. The SmoothShapes device uses laser energy and mechanical disruption of the fibers that contribute to dimpling. Below is the link to the paper he published in the prestigious journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery using an independent pathway VECTRA 3-D analysis. This was the first-time cellulite treatment technology was put to this high-end analysis. The data was not based on doctors showing before and after pictures. A computer determined the post treatment results to assess how good the results in treating cellulite were 6 months after the last in-office treatment. This technology was televised in this link where an actual patient expressed her experience. A great deal of which device we use depends on the type, amount and location of your cellulite and expectations. On a surgical front, there are many treatment options. Surgical options do require you to have this treatment in an outpatient hospital setting vs. an in-office treatment. Hope this helps,Michael Kulick MDSan Francisco Ca.

Answer: What can I do about cellulite? I've heard the BodyFX can help. I don't want to waste my money though. (photos) There are several ways to address cellulite depending upon depth of cellulite, location, elasticity of overall skin envelope, and subcutaneous fat layer. There is no uniformly successful method for treating it. My practice is now using BodyFX, a non-invasive procedure, that requires no down time to reduce the appearance of cellulite. The procedure combines different clinically proven modalities (radio frequency energy, deep tissue heating and suction coupled negative pressure) to distribute heat to the skin and underlying fat, causing the tissues to contract. Weekly sessions over an eight week period are recommended, but improvement is likely seen after the first few sessions. Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Los Angeles, CA

Answer: What Can I Do About Cellulite? Best Cellulite Treatment Is Cellfina
Cellfina is the most effective treatment I’ve ever used for cellulite. After the application of numbing solution, a device is inserted under the skin and it cuts through the tough, fibrous tissue that causes the cellulite dimples. You can remove up to 30 dimples per hour and studies have shown the results last for three years. This is the longest duration actually clinically proven with any device. Body Fx is another, newer version of external radiofrequency with vacuum massage. These devices in the past have improved cellulite modestly and usually ongoing treatment is needed. In your case, I’d recommend co-treatment with Ultherapy, which tightens skin, and dilutions of Sculptra to round out and smooth your buttocks and thighs. Please find a board-certified dermatologist who’s an expert in removing cellulite with FDA-cleared Cellfina.

Answer: Cellfina Hello,Thank you for your question. Cellfina is a great procedure for treating dimpled cellulite. It does appear that you would be a candidate for this treatment but you would need to consult with a local provider in person to determine the best course of action. Good luck!
