I have axillary breast tissue under one arm. How much would it cost to remove, and how long would I have to wait?

Hello!  Thank you for your question!  Cost of aesthetic surgical procedures will vary on your geographic location as well as on surgeon pricing. Factors to consider are the surgeon fee, anesthesia fee, facility fee, and other fees (garments, special equipment, other procedures performed, etc.).  Depending on how your tissue is removed and contoured (i.e., liposuction vs direct excision) will also change price.  However, a price range of $2-5000 would be reasonable.  It will also depend on the complexity of your case. I agree with the other authors on this subject. The other factor that affects cost is whether or not the excision is the primary procedure or associated with another procedure. In many cases, the second procedure costs less.

Accessory breast tissue under the armpit is not uncommon.Depending on its severity, you may require liposuction and/or excision to address the problem.  The cost will vary by surgeon, type of facility, anesthesia, etc.If the wait time question is related to breast augmentation surgery, I would personally wait until you have settled from that procedure.
