Do you need to break any bones to deproject the nasal tip? Would a tip plasty be a good option in my case? (Photo)

Sometimes, when a nasal tip is the projected, if the lower bridge needs to be made closer to your face, that can result in bridge widening and necessitate osteotomies. Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you may benefit from a revision with a formal tip deprojection. Although osteotomies are not part of the actual tip deprojection process, you will definitely require osteotomies because the dorsum will need to be taken down in order to balance and match the tip deprojection that you need. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Based on limited photos, while it does take time for all the swelling to subside , further improvements can be achieved with Revision Reduction Rhinoplasty ( in the right hands)--preferably performed through a closed technique.
