I think I am not satisfied with the rhinoplasty I recently had about 3 weeks ago. Is it too soon to judge?

The reason why Im not satisfied is that the doctor didn't seem to follow the nose that I want to have, I want my nose to be narrower and thinner since I have a big thick nose but maybe its too early? because I just got mine done about 3 weeks ago tho I think only minor has been changed. My nose basically looks like it gone through a rhino but not in a good way, The bridge is too high and my tip of the nose is still wide even the sides of my nose which is my main concern.

yes, It's still too early to have the final results of your surgery. Revision rhinoplasty is any further surgery following a primary rhinoplasty. Revision or secondary rhinoplasty is not commonly performed until a year has gone by following the first rhinoplasty. This is to allow the tissues to settle and all the inflammation, swelling and wound remodeling to resolve. At this point the surgeon can usually finally assess the nose and further rhinoplasty can occurs in as stable as possible a surgical field.  The patient and surgeon then know what they are starting with.

Yes, it's still too soon to tell what your final results will be. You need to have patience with your body as it begins to heal. The skin, bone and cartilage are all traumatized during surgery. Inflammation (swelling) is the normal response and will help your nose to heal and look beautiful in the end. If, one year from now, you are unhappy with your nose, then that is the time to think about a revision procedure. Right now, concentrate on other things you like to do and let your nose and under eyes take the time to heal. Thank you for your question. It is still very early after your procedure for you to see the final results. It will take some time to fully recover. It takes at least 6 months for complete healing from a rhinoplasty.
