Hi there, I lost 30kgs in my weight loss journey. But I still look fat because of my face. What's the best treatment for me? I want to gain back the confidence I forgot since I gained the weight.

Thanks for your question. For achieving a slimmer face, options include, weight loss (if you are heavy set), buccal fat pad removal (to thin the mid face and accentuate your cheek bones), strategic liposuction of your neck and jaw line and even selective feature enhancement through volume addition. This latter option will highlight cheek bones, chin and jaw in a similar way to how makeup artists play with light and shadow to contour the face. Best to set up a few consultations with different surgeons and make an informed decision based on their experience and speciality in the field. View their before and after photos to see what the outcome could potentially be.

Buccal fat removal is a plastic surgery procedure that improves the chubby cheeks ( making the face thinner) in patient with normal or close to normal weight. When patients have overweight or are obese, the surgery doesn't deliver good results because the excess of adipose tissue on other areas of the face other than the buccal fat area masks the results.

Thank you for sharing your photos and your question. For you I would recommend buccal fat pad removal to reduce the fullness in the lower cheeks.  This fat pad gives the look of "chubby cheeks".At the same time, you could get selective liposuction of the neck and chin, which would accentuate your jawline and create a slimmer lower face.
