8 months after surgery and implants positioned differently, why? (Photo)

Although admittedly difficult to diagnose with certainty looking at a single photo, you appear to have an asymmetry in your chest wall shape, a common phenomenon most often associated, but not exclusive to, scoliosis. One implant sits in a gutter, the other on a normal rib cage 'platform'.

Either your pockets were not created symmetrically, or you healed differently on each side- this can be adjusted to look better but would require surgery to fix.

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. Without seeing your before images and without knowing the full details of your procedure it is difficult to comment on any asymmetries, but your results appear very normal and appropriate.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

You need to be a bit more specific about what you do not like. Your breasts naturally do sit somewhat low on your chest and the bases cannot be raised.

More information and pre-op photos are required. Are your breasts the same softness?
Sometimes it may be normal healing with one side harder due to a capsular contracture. Other times it is from normal anatomy.
Your nipples look even, the take off (top) of your breasts and the inframammary folds (bottom of your breasts) appear even. These go against a malposition of the implants.
