When I’m not cold, my nipples are large and puffy. Cold or not, my breasts sag and stick out to the sides. The tops of my breasts are not filled in, they are flat and solid. Whenever I wear a push up bra or bikini top, I don’t achieve the level of cleavage that I desire. I’m 22 and want a breast lift and augmentation to correct my current breasts. Is this a good idea?
Answer: Do I have tubular breasts? How do I treat them? I'm 22 years old. You do not appear to have tubular breasts. You do appear to have asymmetry both in breast size and areola size. Treatment can be individualized and depends on your specific complaints. I think a breast implant would help with some things. Then possibly reducing the size of the larger areola.

Answer: Do I have tubular breasts? How do I treat them? I'm 22 years old Hello, thank you for your question. You may benefit from a breast augmentation. A board certified plastic surgeon will be able to guide you to the correct size implant. Based upon measurements of your chest wall and breast imprint width as well as knowledge of all breast implant sizes and profiles should make this process easy. Try on a profile bra with various silicone sizers your PS recommends under a tailored blouse, tank top, bikini, workout clothes, and other garments you typically wear so that you have the best idea of whether the garments fit as desired with the implant selected. Select the size that boosts your self-esteem, and fits your anatomy. Choosing an implant based on an aesthetic goal that exceeds your anatomic capacity may lead to complications and possibly revision later in life.

Answer: Breasts You do not have tubular breasts, but do have small breasts which can be enhanced with implants. I would recommend placing them behind the muscle to help give more upper fullness. Just based on your photos, you do not need a lift.

Answer: Tuberous breasts Dear noor799, tuberous breasts are not simply small or underdeveloped breasts. The appearance of the breast can range from mild to severe, and typical traits include: enlarged, puffy areola, rather wide spacing between the breasts, very little breast tissue, sagging, higher than normal inferior breast fold, and narrow base at the chest wall. The type of surgery best for you will depend on the severity of your condition. My preferred technique for tuberous breast correction involves a multistep procedure where the breast tissue is released in a radial pattern to prevent herniation into the areola and placement of a custom implant size is in the breast to allow appropriate expansion of the breast in the restricted dimensions. This can often be done in a single procedure but sometimes may require two surgeries. That said, it is best that you visit a board-certified plastic surgeon for an in person examination. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Modified Benelli Lift with small implants or fat transfer The technique I recommend is a modified Benelli lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, small implants or fat transfers can be placed. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
