Thanks for sending your photo. I would not extract anything. Your issue is lack of space, you need any orthodontic consultation to determine the best course of action. Please seek care at an orthodontist in your area to find out what options you have. Good luck.
Hi, you definitely have need for an orthodontist with your crossbite. I would not advise you do anything until you see an orthodontist for your options. Good luck.
From your photo the canine is slightly high but the lateral incisor is pushed back. This seems to be a case of a lack of space. My recommendation would be Clear Correct aligners with some gentle enamel reshaping in order to create space for both the teeth.Treatment time would be less than 12 months and you would not have to pull out a tooth.
best option for u is braces treatment. damon braces is ideal option in yr case. i m not advising any extraction. veneer is not good option just because of cross bite with upper lateral incisor and high canine.
Hi:Good question. I would suggest to first explore orthodontic treatment before any extraction. Best,Dr. Maddahi
Hi there - thanks for your question. Your picture doesn't show your entire dental arch but I'm assuming you're asking about your upper left canine. It looks like it might be sticking out. This is accentuated by the rest of your anterior teeth pointing towards the inside of your mouth. This is called an anterior crossbite which can be easily fixed with orthodontics (Invisalign or braces). Looks like you have a nice shape to your teeth without many restorations therefore orthodontics would be a great, less invasive than getting porcelain veneers. Good luck!
Hi there - thanks for your question. Please see your dentist as soon as you can to have your veneer recemented. Depending on the reason why the veneer fell off - it can be easily recemented if it still fits and there is no recurrent decay. In my office, this includes,...
Basically porcelain veneers are used to close gaps and if you you've had your teeth shift slightly after your veneers were done, then sometimes they can be moved slightly back into a tighter alignment. Even veneers made of porcelain cannot be bonded to close the gap with a predictable long term...
Hi there. In my office, before we start a large case, I'll have the patients not wear their retainers for a few weeks letting the teeth relapse a little. Then once the permanent restorations get cemented - there is little movement that will occur. If the veneers were done...
Hi:The replacement of Emax veneers depend on three factors:1. If you get gum recession where the roots of the tooth show while smiling, you may want to get longer veneers to cover the roots.2. Chipping or fracturing the veneer3. Getting decay where the veneer meets the tooth. The actual ema...
Hi: Normally there are three main reasons why you would have to change your veneers: 1. Gum recession where the root of your tooth is exposed. 2. Chipping or breakage of a veneers, 3. Decay at the margin of the veneers. Best, Dr. Maddahi
You need to have a full exam with a very experienced dentist. If you have ground down your back teeth, it would be best to restore the vertical dimension of occlusion (aka bring your bite back to its normal height) prior to having veneers placed in the front. After your bite is corrected, y...
