Why does my nose look the same after rhinoplasty? (Photo)

On the 12th of August I had an open rhinoplasty with alar base reduction. I've always been self-conscious of the bulbous tip of my nose, so I had the procedure done and my PS also filed the sides of the bridge of my nose down. I know it's only been 2 weeks, and I'm still swollen, but my nose looks exactly the same to me! My husband said he can see a difference, but I can't. I told my PS I wanted a definite change, not subtle. I've included a before and after picture for reference. Thank you!

The biggest safety difference with GA is that the patient's airway is 'secure' during the surgical procedure. Not the case with 'twilight sedation'. Both modalities are very safe when done by a qualified anesthesia provider for appropriate patients.
