What kind of nose do I have? (Photo)

Rhinoplasty is typically a procedure in which the aesthetic results are dependent on the patient's desires.  We do not make a "cookie cutter" nose for all patients, but instead seek to create the nose the patient wants, within the limitations of the patient's anatomy.  From looking at your photos, it appears you have a small hump which can be easily corrected with rhinoplasty.  As far a tip modification, small changes can also be made if that is what you desire.  I suggest consulting with a board certified surgeon specializing in rhinoplasty to discuss all your options.  I have provided a link below.  Good Luck!

You have many options for rhinoplasty, but the best way to get an answer to your question is with a consultation.  Physical examination is as important as your appearance.  There are issues to discuss that will affect the choices for you.  A consultation with a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery is a good place to start.

This is so hard to do over the internet with photos that just show the nose and not the face. Since the nose is integral to the face, it is an aesthetic unit in the middle of the face. All the facial feature play a part in it's appearance and relationship, one cannot evens the nose lip relationship in the photos.  Photos are also two-dimensional and an in person face to face evaluation is three-dimensional. So to say specifically I would do this or I would do that is in my estimation unrealistic.Simply find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area who does a lot of rhinoplasties,  take the time to visit, get an in person opinion. Take lots of notes, ask lots of questions and bring a friend ( a second set of ears to listen and remember), look at lots of photos and then decide what you think about the surgeon, his / her suggestions and are they something you wish to pursue.Good LuckStephen M.
