I have a small area of visible pulsation on my inner lower lip after Juvederm 3 days ago. Could this be a pseudoaneurysm?

I had juvederm injected into my lips 3 days ago, and on the second evening noticed a small (under 5mm diameter) visible area of pulsation (synchronous with pulse) on my inside lower lateral lip. The area is not red, swollen, or painful, it looks just like the surrounding mucosa. There was no obvious bleeding at the site at the time of injection or signs of ischemia. There was a small filler nodule in the area, injected with hyaluronidase yesterday- this is now gone, but pulsation remains.

This needs an in-person evaluation. I recommend following up with your injector. If necessary, the filler can be reversed with hyaluronidase. Best, Dr. Emer
