Can hyaluronic acid fillers reach or affect the brain after absorption and time?

Recently about 1 year ago it said on the juvederm website that there has been no studies whether it has any affect or can reach the brain. One or the other. I cannot find that know. Has there been a recent clinical trial on it? As the filler gets absorbed, can it get into the bloodstream and cross the blood brain barrier. If so, what affect can it have?

Hi Smarie2712! After 4 days the bruising you are experiencing is a normal part of the healing process. Applying Arnica and ice is great, you can also take Arnica pills that will be more beneficial than the cream or gel topically. Give it up to a full 2 weeks for everything to come down and settle.

Dear Jolie,  I am sorry to hear this has worried you. This can be a normal reaction after having dermal fillers and will normally settle within two weeks. Cold compress can help with swelling. If the lumps do not settle then request a face to face review with the practitioner that injected...

Usually there is no restriction, but if you're concerned, I would wait 2-4 hours. Otherwise, I would follow-up with your injector about their protocols for eating. Hope this helps.
