I would like chin liposuction but my wedding is 6 weeks away...too close?

I'm getting married on May 29th, 2016 and would like to decrease the amount of fat under my chin and in neck area. Is this too short of a period of time to see results and heal?

Thank you for your picture. Congratulations on your wedding.  In my opinion, you should wait until after your wedding before proceeding with chin liposuction. You healing may not be complete before your wedding. Best wishes.

Six weeks is not enough time to get married and undergo cosmetic surgery and can be completely healed. Best to wait after the wedding to undergo elective cosmetic surgery

Hi, I have performed many facial shaping procedures, over the past 30 years, using liposuction, dermal fillers and/or facial implants (Cheek, chin).  6 weeks before your wedding day, one of the most important days of your life...too close for even a simple neck liposuction.  Have a great wedding and consider this after the honeymoon.Hope this helps.

Hi,I think liposuction would be fine if you had done soon... ( next week)... this will give enough time for healing. Kybella is not an option as it requires several treatments and can cause sweiling for several weeks and results can take up to 3 months.Best,Dr.S.
