I would like chin liposuction but my wedding is 6 weeks away...too close?

I'm getting married on May 29th, 2016 and would like to decrease the amount of fat under my chin and in neck area. Is this too short of a period of time to see results and heal?

I think it unlikely that you will notice any dramatic improvement.  Liposuction can give you some minor improvement in the jowls, but never dramatic.  Your options at this point would involve either a facelift, a chin implant and/or a pre-jowl implant.  I would need to either see you in...

The recovery after liposuction of the neck under the chin is relatively quick for most people. I would say the immediate recovery usually does not take more than a week. Swallowing should not be affected by the procedure.

Thanks for sharing.  The results from neck and chin lipo will continue to evolve for several months.  The skin needs to contract during this time frame so it is best to wait and see the end result before trying again.  I would recommend waiting at least 6 months but ideally even close to a ye...
