Medical insurance will typically cover all procedures focused on correcting functional nasal issues. Functional issue refers to problems with breathing, or even more advanced problems with the sinuses depending on the nature of the injury. Insurance will not cover any fees related to cosmetic enhancements to the nose. These procedure fees are solely the patient's responsibility. Good Luck
Insurance may cover breathing problems secondary to trauma.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA..........
If the septum is deviated, or the nasal valves are collapsed, or the bones impede the airway then insurance will generally help with the repair costs. Valve repair and repairing a septonasal fracture will change the shape of the nose and can sometimes do the same thing as a rhinoplasty. If the purpose of the procedure is only cosmetic then insurance will not help. Speak to your surgeon's office to make sure that you are not paying for a nasal surgery that your very expensive insurance should be paying for.
Medical insurance will sometimes cover surgery related to a breathing problem, once medical necessity has been documented. The broken nose will most likely not be covered unless it is causing nasal obstruction. Always best to check with your coverage handbook, especially concerning exclusion for cosmetic surgical services. For many examples of broken nose repair in our practice, please see the link below

Pregnancy should have no effect on your rhinoplasty outcome. If you have certain times of year when your allergies are not as bad, I would recommend trying to get your surgery then so as not to add to the congestion you experience in the post-op period.
Your nose looks very nice and at least in the photos you post it does not appear wide. Good luck in your decision to proceed.
