Would my nose get bigger after pregnancy? I am planning on doing Rhinoplasty

I am planning on doing a Rhinoplasty and I was wondering if I got pregnant after a year or so would my nose get bigger and would affect the plastic surgery that I made. Also, I have an allergy problem from dust would it have any affect on the Rhinoplasty.

This is a great question. If you were to see me regarding this, my first piece of advice would be to ensure there are no issues with the baby, feeding as well as your health at that time. If there are no issues, than surgery a year after pregnancy will not influence the results. IN addition to this, most surgeons think it is fine to breastfeed some time after surgery, but I would recommend discussing this with your primary care physician.

Pregnancy should have no effect on your rhinoplasty outcome. If you have certain times of year when your allergies are not as bad, I would recommend trying to get your surgery then so as not to add to the congestion you experience in the post-op period.
