My eye specialist has recommended bilateral lateral canthoplasty surgery. Is this procedure likely to fix my watery eyes?

I suffer from dry eyes and they are continually tearing up which is embarrassing because I have to wipe the eyes with a clean handkerchief.I am 78 yoa and have had this problem for 10 years. The problem is worse in the cooler months.

When the eyelid turns in, it is called entropion.  When the eyelid turns out, it is called ectropion.  This eyelid neither turns in or out.  It simply gaps away from the eye surface so it is accurately described as either a malposition or some might want to call it an ectropion....

There are many nonsurgical treatments for under eye wrinkles in a young person. You can try a laser to resurface the skin such as a 2940 nm Erbium. You can try radio frequency such as Thermage around the eyes. You can try fillers, but there is risk of increasing too much volume in your under eye.
