I would like a referral to an ENT specialist to discuss Rhinoplasty - would a GP provide this for cosmetic reasons only?

Or will I need to state my case to my GP to justify the referral request ie: "I suffer from hay fever and have a constant blocked nose .... I don't want to use nose sprays etc... I'd be keen to discuss my concerns with an ENT specialist.... Could you refer me to Dr [RS bleep] please?"

There likely won't be any problems with skiing a couple months after rhinoplasty.  Ask your surgeon about the goggles.  I recently bought a  helmet with a visor rather than goggles.  This may work better.  I saw a bunch of them in Europe but not many here in Colorado yet...
