I am having Botox on frown lines and crows feet and then a wisdom tooth extracted the next day.

Thank you for your question.  A Botox cosmetic treatment would not be a contraindication to wisdom teeth extraction nor will the dental procedure affect the longevity of your treatment.  Best of luck.

Thank you for your question. Having a wisdom tooth extraction should not affect your Botox results. You should avoid massaging your face and lying down for 4 hours after the procedure. Also, no exercising for the first 24 hours after injection. You should avoid any dental work for 2 weeks if you receive dermal fillers. Best of Luck!

It is ok to go ahead with your Botox injection. While I recommend that my patients not have any dental work for 2 weeks before and after filler injection (because of risk of infection), this rule does not apply to Botox injection. 

There should be no issue having dental work after your Botox but just be sure to inform the dentist that you had it done

There should be no effect on the Botox results from the dental procedure. I tell patients to not have any physical activity for 4 hours as well as refrain from hats, massage, hot tubs or saunas. After fillers, dental procedures should be on hold for 2 weeks.

a purified protein used to address wrinkles associated with facial expression. After a Botox treatment I recommend that my patients avoid lying flat for 4 hours. Botox and dental work the following day should not have an effect on one another. Please

As with all Botox treatment to the face, I recommend patient's remain upright for at least 4 hours after their treatment. The longevity of your treatment sub-sequentially should also not be impacted by the wisdom tooth extraction. Please advise your dentist of the Botox treatment you have had done prior to your wisdom tooth extraction to ensure he/she has a complete medical history prior to performing the extraction.
