Just curious to know if Botox would give any weird sensation after it is injected between the brows and to Lift the brows Like any annoying feeling after it starts to work

Botox does not affect the sensory nerves.  Some patients do notice an unusual sensation initially when they are unable to move their muscles as they attempt to squeeze them.  This sensation passes quickly and most patients are extremely pleased with their outcomes.

Botox does not affect sensation so you should not have any funny feeling after the discomfort of the injection wears off.  That is not to say that you don't have an unusual sensation, rather that the sensation is not due to Botox.  Having said that, Botox like any other medication can have side effects including headaches.  After thousands of Botox injections, I can say that I have never had a patient complain of that problem though.

Following the injection of droplets of Botox (and other similar drugs)-which stings a little- there may be a slight sensation of light pressure or increased sensation. As the Botox begins to work over the ensuing days, you might notice that it is a little more difficult to make strong expressions (that's why we use it!) but most patients do not report anything very out of the ordinary..

Because there is a prevention of the nerve impulses that would normally contract your brow muscles, it does feel a little different. The right amount of Botox (or other product that works similarly) won't cause any annoying sensations, but it is a different feel that you get used to very quickly.The only time things get annoying is when too much of a product is used and you experience the "freeze" that stops all the movement in the muscles. If this is your first time having Botox, ask for a lighter dose and then add to in a 2nd visit.

Botox does not alter sensation.  However Botox does weaken the muscles surrounding the injection site.  The weakness of the muscles may feel unusual at first but you will adapt to it.

Some patients do complain of a strange sensation of heaviness for the first couple of days after the onset of action of any of the botulinum toxin products (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin).  Within a couple of days this sensation of heaviness resolves completely, and these products often resolve other conditions such as migraine headaches, tension headaches and pre-existing heaviness in the forehead area.  So this strange sensation for one to two days after injection, is welcomed by most patients who experience it because of the longer term improvement in appearance and relief of headaches.

Botox works by preventing muscle movements.  The sensation of not moving the muscle when Botox is working completely is one that patients get used to very quickly.  As it is setting in or as it is wearing off there can be a funny sensation when you have partial movement.  This does not last long.  I find the funny feeling when it is wearing off a nice reminder that it is time for my Botox!

Immediately after botox injections, most patients feel nothing. As the product begins to weaken the intended muscles, most people feel a more relaxed feeling in the forehead if the proper doses have been used.Once you get used to "not frowning" it usually feels great.If there is asymmetry or any other unusual feelings one should report that immediately to your doctor.The full effect of the botox usually takes 7 days so usually I will not make any adjustments until after 7 days.
