I got a fungal rash under both breasts and just got treatment for it today. Will a plastic surgeon still perform surgery? There is no infection. I already paid for the entire surgery I am scared he will cancel it due to the this.

Answer: Infection before surgery I would send your surgeon your photos and keep them updated on your fungal infection. The infection has to be gone before surgery will proceed for your safety. They will ultimately decide on whether to proceed with surgery or not.

Answer: You should call your surgeon ASAP. Hi kchaykun, For breast lifts done with a wise (anchor) type incision, the lower incision is made in the breast crease--precisely where your rash is. I would suggest calling your surgeon ASAP to discuss--it may be best to reschedule, but it's a decision best made between you and your surgeon. Hope this helps.
