When doing PDL treatment, subsequent treatments are scheduled 4 weeks apart. What detrimental effects are there for waiting 8 weeks or much longer between treatments?

Answer: Timing of PDL treatments You absolutely can wait longer than 4 weeks to have your treatments spread out. You might need fewer overall if you give it more time, as the body might continue to metabolize the small vessels and hemoglobin. We have had patients wait 6-8 weeks between traditionally, but ask your dermatologist specifically for their guidance. Best of luck!

Answer: Pulsed dye laser Thank you for your question. In my experience, I would see no issue in waiting 8 weeks between treatments. Try to prevent getting a suntan in the area being treated prior to your pulsed dye laser session as this will have an effect on your treatment.
