Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
The choice is easy. Morpheus8 plus PRP is the top of the line skin tightening treatment. It is easy to undergo and with only roughly 4 days of swelling.
Thank you for your question. I perform ThermiTight, Ultherapy, and Genius Radiofrequency microneedling which in my opinion is superior than the Morpheus for skin tightening. Based on your picture alone, I think you will see the most significant results with ThermiTight, followed by Radiofrequency Microneedling, and then Ultherapy. Of course, these are all skin tightening treatments and will not replace the volume loss that is also present. I would recommend an in-person consultation and examination where an accurate treatment plan can be created for you. Best wishes.
Hello, Sincere8617Both Thermi and Morpheus8 are similar in that they both use radio-frequency. Thermi is a radio-frequency that is a lot more invasive than Morpheus8 and it won't be able to reach the under eye area properly. Morpheus8 doesn't just have the benefits of radio-frequency BUT also that of Micro-needling! Making it a great option. Morpheus8 has shown great improvements in removing fat and tightening the jowls and neck AND tightening the eyes. Morpheus8 also works great in combination with Accutite and Facetite. Best of Luck, Dr. Nicole Eisenbrown
All the technologies you mentioned result in some skin tightening at first. However, during the procedure a great deal of subcutaneous fat is literally cooked and as the body heals, this fat is lost forever making your face look considerably older and deflated some months after the procedure. I would urge you to visit a plastic surgeon near you and bring with yourself a set of photographs of you when you are considerably younger. I hope this helps and I hope the surgeon finds a treatment that will be suitable for you. Good luck from New York City plastic surgery
Thank you for your question and the photo you uploaded. Although Facetite and Morpheus8 both tighten skin, there are some differences between the two technologies. Facetite uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to melt some fat and also tighten the skin. Morpheus8 uses the same RF energy to melt a...
First, I am sorry to hear that you were over filled. Luckily that can be reversed. You definitely can do Morpheus 8 over filler. If the filler is superficial, it will help dissolve it, but the hyalronidase it a better way to address the problem. The morpheus 8 is a great...
Thank you for your question! Morpheus8 is safe to do after fillers but I always recommend to do the treatment at least 2 weeks following any filler injection. This gives ample time for the filler to completely settle as well as your skin to recover from any post filler bruising or swelling....
