I would like to have it on the lower face ( lower cheeks, side of face, and from of face above nl folds). What depth to make sure techs won’t cause fat loss. I noticed that even at plastic surgeon’s offices they have nurses doing the procedure and I want to be extra careful.
Answer: MOrpheus without fat loss At our office in Monroe.Mi, only Dr. Katz herself, a board certified MD, does these procedures. There are no techs or MAs performing solo procedures. To answer your question, you can definitely get Morpheus done without fat loss. One of the great things about Morpheus is that you can precisely control the depth of delivery of the radiofrequency energy. For the average person, the depth of fat under the skin begins at around 3 to 4 mm. The Morpheus device can be set to a restricted depth of 2mm for the majority of the face and then down to 1mm for the forehead and periorbital areas to avoid fat destruction. Hope this helps!

Answer: Depth of Morpheus to avoid fat loss I would recommend not going beyond a depth of 2 mm. On the forehead/bony areas of the face, I would limit the depth to 1 mm. This will give you an effective treatment without causing fat loss. Cheers from Dallas!

Answer: Tightening the face without dissolving fat with Morpheus 8 Hi there justicia1980 It is more than the depth of the micro-needling that affects the fat. You are right, generally we don't want to lose fat on the face. The exception to that might be a little bit of a double chin. The difference is more in the technique used and the energy. For tightening without fat reduction, we do more of a pass technique where we keep moving on the face. If we wanted to reduce a little bit of fat we stamp the skin and stay in that area for multiple needle penetrations in the same area. We also use different energies depending on what we want to accomplish. Best of luck! -Dr. Eisenbrown

Answer: Morpheus 8 is the latest and perhaps the best technology that's come to the Market in a long time! If you've been thinking about upgrading your micro-needling results with radio frequency , morpheus8 is the way to go. This is by far the best technology to come to the market in recent years. In the face we don't typically go much deeper than 2mm, perhaps 2.5-3mm in certain areas. In other countries in the body they go much deeper to reduce fat content. Of course in the face you wouldn't want to do that. Anyone operating the Morpheus 8 likely had great training from the company . You'll be in good hands. Best from Boston, Dr.Onir

Answer: Morpheus facts In most areas of the face the fat lies approximately two to two-and-a-half mm beneath the skin. Around the eye area it is considerably closer to the skin being approximately 1 mm under the skin level. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City
