Is it okay to sit on a BBL pillow after thigh lipo?

A BBL pillow can help with your discomfort. It shouldn't harm your results. Check with your physician to verify. 

It is definitely recommended to use a BBL pillow to help with the discomfort after surgery. You can always speak to your provider and get further instructions of when and how you should use the pillow. 

Thank you for your question! It is ok to use a BBL pillow post thigh liposuction. Sitting on the pillow should not have any negative affect on your thigh lipo results. For my patients having a BBL, I recommend they stay completely off of their buttocks for the first 10 days post op, then they can starting sitting using the BBL pillow for the following 3 weeks. At 6 weeks post op, there are no sitting restrictions. Best of luck!

BBL pillow might be helpful to relieve your discomfort after surgery. But it is best that you consult your plastic surgeon regarding post operative care and management (i.e including massage techniques and timing) specific to your case. Your surgeon knows your condition well and has preferences on when and what to use for faster healing and recovery. Post operative care and management depends on the type of surgery performed and the technique used during surgery among other factors.
It is best, however, that you follow your plastic surgeon's advice on post operative care management for a smooth and faster healing and recovery.

as long as the pressure is not on areas that were treated with fat transfer then it should be fine to sit on the BBL pillow. I suggest talking to your provider about this. The recovery after a BBL is a little awkward. Do the best you can. In general you want to minimize movement and deeper pressure on the areas grafted. The areas treated with liposuction are not as particular in regards to postoperative care. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
