I was wanting liposuction but then decided to do a fat transfer to my buttocks. I was so excited until I seen something on Facebook about this being the most deadly cosmetic procedure with a death rate of 1:3000. Now I am literally terrified, I think I forgot to mention to the doctor that I have a history of seizures although I did put it on my chart. My doctor is board certified by American Board of Plastic Surgery, but I am still just freaking out about doing such a risky surgery.

Answer: Dangerous BBL currently no one has better statistics than one and 3000 mortality for a BBL. some surgeons claim to not inject fat in the muscle but I seriously question if anyone can deliver anything close to the results patients are expecting and not put any fat in the gluteus muscle. The size of your gluteus muscle is not pertinent to having a fat embolism. If you're a risk averse person and one and 3000 mortality seems to higher than your decision it's very simple. Don't get a BBL. Some people are excellent candidate for this procedure while others are not. There are a lot of different factors to take in the consideration. In particular the shape of your pelvis bones make a big difference on the type of outcome you can expect. You may want to confirm if you're a good medium or not such a good candidate for the procedure. If you're not a good candidate for the procedure then you should absolutely do not have it done. It'll make your decision process easier. Unfortunately too many providers blurt out that everyone's a great candidate. A pulse and a credit card does not make someone a candidate for elective cosmetic procedure. For some people well and liposuction can give the impression of gluteal enhancement by it self. About 1/3 of patients I see you are good to great candidates. 1/3 of our average candidates and 1/3 are poor or not candidates. Find out which one you are. No one has to have a BBL.
