About four and half hours after Botox injection, I bumped my head on the dresser decently hard -directly at the injection site. Will there be side effects? Should I ice it? There is a small red bump on my head and hurt slightly.

Answer: Blunt trauma after botox injection The most likely answer is no, bumping your head in the way that you did should not affect the botox injections. However, there is a possibility that it may make the diffusion of the botox spread a bit more from the trauma or the inflammation afterward. I would ice the area (just as you would with any blunt injury). It does not sound like the injury was big enough to permanently damage your muscles or your face. I do suggest that you contact your doctor to let them know what happened and get their opinion on affect and what to do.

Answer: Bumping your head after Botox Your head and face should be fine after the Botox even though you bumped your head. Ice may help with the swelling and discomfort, but probably wont make a big difference in the outcome of your Botox.
