I had one syringe of restylane injected half into my tear troughs and the other half in my lips 3 days ago. I feel like my lips need a little more to look like they were filled. How long do I have to wait to get any touch ups? And will I be charged for another full syringe to do this? Thank you for any advice!
Answer: Touch ups It's best to wait two weeks in between filler injections. This allows the swelling and any bruising to resolve. You and your injector can then determine how much more product will get you to the look you are wanting.

Answer: Improving Lip Volume / Lip Augmentation with Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella), Fat Grafting, Implants, Touch-Up There can be some swelling and/or lumps after lip injections which can last 1 to 2 weeks, so it's ideal to wait about 14 days before returning for a touch-up. In addition to fillers, PDO NovaThreads can also be used to improve shape and provide lift. Fat grafting and surgical implants are more permanent alternatives. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with your injector or an experienced cosmetic dermatologist to discuss your aesthetic goals and determine the best treatment plan for you. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Timing for Restylane Restylane is associated with a "flash" swelling that isn't seen as frequently with other fillers. It isn't uncommon for my Restylane patients to like the initial result and feel that it is slightly deflated after about 10 days. I would wait about 10-14 days before adding any more. However, discuss with your injector for his/her opinion.

Answer: Restylane You can get more filler injected if it’s appropriate as soon as the first set of injections settle, which can be anywhere from 3 days to 7 days. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.
