Answer: Forehead and Temple The best way to augment the volume deficiency in your temples is with soft tissue fillers or autologous fat. Soft tissue fillers are a quick, easy and temporary correction (each filler has a slightly different longevity). If you were looking for something more long term, autologous fat may be an option. This is where we take fat from one part of your body (usually abdomen or thighs) and transplant it via micrografts to your temple. Depending on the take of these grafts, this fat is permanent. With regards to your forehead, if you were just looking to increase the vertical height of your forehead you could do a hairline recontouring procedure to alter the position of your hairline. A consultation with a facial plastic surgeon or general plastic surgeon would be able to help make this decision for you. I would recommend setting one up to go over various options and what is best for you. Good luck.

Answer: Hello hami52, Thank you for your picture. Your goals may or may not be reasonable depending upon the causes of the deformities. Bone shaving and injectables are often associated with the type of results that you desire for the temples. It also sounds like you would like to increase the size of your forehead, which could be as simple as removing hair from your hairline. I recommend that you consult with several Board Certified Plastic Surgeons in order to find one with experience in your needs. Telephone calls to the offices of your targeted surgeons should give you an ideas as to the experience that he/she has with such cases. Thank you for your question and best wishes.

Answer: Adding volume to the forehead Hello, and thank you for your questions and for your picture. If you feel dissatisfied with the volume in your temple areas, a filler procedure would most likely resolve those issues. A dermal filler or autologous fat could be used to add volume to those areas. If you are happy with that result and want a more long-lasting outcome, grafts may also be applied. As for your hairline, a reassignment of your hairline to a higher profile would reveal more of your forehead and visually add height, which may satisfy your concerns. Contact several board-certified facial plastic surgeons in your area for alternative solutions based on an in-personal evaluation. Good luck!- Elbert T. Cheng, MD

Answer: Add volume to forehead? For your temple areas, fillers would work well. Consult with your Facial Plastic surgeon to determine the best choice. Your hairline appears low in your photo.. this can be raised surgically to make your forehead look taller.

Answer: Try filler first Hi hami52, Thanks for adding the photo. You are likely correct that the temple area may be hollow because of your bone structure. The least invasive way to address this is the addition of volume, either in the form of fat transfer or filler. As far as your forehead being to small... I don't really see a problem, there are all kinds of men that would be thrilled with your hairline! See a few surgeons in person. There is no substitute for a face to face consultation! Hope this helps! dr. silver
