12 days ago, I had an endoscopic brow lift/forehead lift with lowering the hairline at the same time. My eyebrows looks over elevated centrally. I look surprised. I have read that the brows will settle / drop in the following weeks. How long does it take for one's brows to relax? And how far down will they go? Can a reversal be done? My hairline is fine - before surgery I had a bit high hairline. I have just turned 50 years.

Answer: Concerns over brow position after brow lift As emphasized by other reviewers, brow position after brow lift can take several months after surgery but is also affected by technique and each patient's individual features and anatomic characteristics. Try to be patient and be sure to stay in contact with your surgeon to be clear about your expected outcome. Lowering the brow position symmetrically can be challenging and will depend many factors so hopefully your brows will settle to an acceptable level over time.

Answer: Time is your friend Thanks for posting this question. It sounds like you had a "pre-trichial" brow lift that also lowered your hairline. It is hard without photos of the before and after to say exactly how long it will take until you settle into a desirable position. It may take weeks to months. There are ways to lower the brows if they are set to high, but this is exceedling rare to perform since the brows settle in everyone. In fact, an overcorrection at this time is desirable since everyone settles. Be patient and allow your self to heal and for the swelling to leave. Best of luck - time is your friend!
