Is IPL safe for a possible pregnant woman?

IPL is a great treatment for facial rejuvenation. The safety and efficacy of the treatment has not been demonstrated in women who are pregnant or breast feeding. For this reason I do not treat women who are pregnant or breast feeding. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!

I do not recommend any laser or light based treatments on pregnant women.  The FDA has not tested these treatments on pregnant women.  You should wait until you're done with pregnancy. 

Many of these procedures have not been tested for pregnancy, however any reputable provider would not perform any kind of laser treatment on a pregnant patient, early stage or not. To ensure the safety of your baby, all cosmetic procedures need to be avoided during pregnancy.
