Have been feeling great and they have settled very nicely, one isn't higher than the other or more swollen but i have a sharp pain on the far side of my left boob towards the bottom especially if i push on it but do not feel pain any where else? Is this something I should be concerned about???
Answer: Side pain after breast augmentation Thank you for your question. Yes, it is not unusual to have aches and pains around the chest and breast after breast augmentation surgery. The two sides are not always equal in the way they heal and feel. As long as the pain does not continue to intensify, it will get better with time.

Answer: Pain on left side after breast augmentation, 1 week postop, should I be concerned? Hello! Thank you for your question! Mild pain/tenderness following any surgical procedure is not uncommon. Especially following breast procedures like a breast augmentation, there may be differences in such due to dissection and creation of a pocket for the implant. At 1 week postop, it is common to have pain still. Continue to followup with your surgeon and certainly call or seek medical attention if it worsens or you develop any other change or new signs/symptoms. Hope that this helps!

Answer: Pain in breast on week post op. Should I be concerned? Thanks for your question. Your question reminds me a little of the old joke about the guy who goes in to see the doctor and says that it hurts every time he twists his arm into a weird position. Doctor answers so don't twist your arm anymore. Your only one week post op. Your muscle was likely released right were your hurting. Don't aggressively push towards that area unless instructed by your doctor to do so. It's normal to have those symptoms. It will gradual abate and resolve.

Answer: Asymmetric breast pain after surgery This is quite normal. Whenever we do surgery on two areas (breasts, eyes, ears, hips etc) people tend to compare how each side heals. However, the two sides of your body rarely heal at the same rate...one side may swell more, one side may heal faster, one side may be more painful. This may go on for months.Your pain appears to be related to a nerve that is in the lower outside of your breast and is frequently painful early after surgery. The tenderness here generally resolves with time, but wearing good support so that the implant does not rest on it during the day and using a warm compress at night may help relieve the discomfort. Ask your doctor if an antiinflammatory medication is indicated for you as well.
