A beard transplant on skin that has had laser treatment?

Hair transplant surgery does not usually leave a scar on the recipient site.  Your skin may be red for a few weeks.  If you are prone to scarring, your skin may "feel" thicker and rough after the surgery.  This is something you need to discuss with your doctor.

Now wants to have a  beard transplant. I would not think that this is a problem, as the skin should have healed the the grafts go below the skin into the dermis which is below the area lasered.

A number of procedures are available for restoration of all or part of the beard or facial areas by follicular units either by using the FUE or FUT technique. Follicles are transplanted to the facial area via the method best suited to the needs of each patient. If you have done laser in the past, it should have no effect on the area being transplanted. This procedure is usually performed in an outpatient setting. Postoperative complications are usually limited to minor pain and swelling.  It requires a bit of artistry in the part of the surgeon So choose your doctor wisely and make sure you see some before and after pictures. However, in the hands of a skilled/ artistic hair transplant doctor, it will look natural and chances of scaring is low.
