I have had a hair transplant almost 2 months ago. Recipient area still red. I have erythema and have been prescribed a topical cream but seems to be doing little. Can the redness be permanent? Are there are alternatives to reduce the redness?

Answer: Persistent redness is not normal after 2 months. It is best to follow up with your doctor for a recheck if the treatment is not
It is best to go back to your doctor for medication dosing and issues. Your doctor needs to prescribe the medication and give you instructions on how to take it. If you accidentially dislodged 2 grafts, it should not be an issue in the grand scheme of things.
It is totally normal for hair to still be shedding at that point after the procedure, you have nothing to worry about. The hair you show with a hook is also nothing to be concerned about, it looks normal.
It sounds like a very normal shedding after any hair transplant surgery. If you have a major concern do not spend time with the forums and directly visit your doctor.
