Redness at almost 2 months post op?

Persistent redness is not normal after 2 months. It is best to follow up with your doctor for a recheck if the treatment is not working.

You should visit your doctor if you are still having redness in the recipient area on the 2nd month after your hair transplant surgery.Redness maybe a sign of infection or some sensitiveness.

The redness indicates inflammation, which is abnormal 2 months after surgery. The cause of the inflammation could be as simple as the use of Rogaine/Minoxidil, or as serious as an infection. It needs to be addressed by your family physician with hair restoration experience or equivalent. It is not likely that it will be long lasting if diagnosed and treated properly. 

It is not unlikely to still have some redness at 2 months, if you are light skinned especially. Most people with darker skin will not notice any redness after a couple of weeks but fair skinned patients may. 

If you are experiencing redness after two months post op, you need to follow up with your doctor to find the cause and proper treatment. 

It is not highly unusual for a person with very sensitive skin to become red and hold on to the redness. I am not your doctor but you doctor can treat the redness.
