How close to my original nose can I get?

Hello! I had a rhino about 6 months ago. I did not have clear enough communication with my surgeon beforehand and he ended up making changes I did not want him to make--shaving down the texture of my bridge, rotating the tip upwards and giving me an alarplasty, making my nostrils a weird small ‘c’ shape. I am devastated by the results as I wanted a super subtle, natural change. Would I be able to restore bridge texture, widen nostrils and de-rotate tip with a revision? How close to my original nose do you think I can get? Thank you!

At least from these photos, the tip of your nose looks wide-ish to me, and if it's over-rotated, it's not severely over-rotated. At six months, you should have lost a large amount of your swelling, which implies that little was done to the tip cartilages, and that's very good if you need a revision -- gives the revision surgeon more to work with, and a better ability to move the nose in the direction(s) you want. Also, the natural history of noses is that they tend to lengthen over the year after surgery.

The upshot of all this is that when the swelling is all gone and you become a candidate for revision, in about 4-6 months, the amount that your nose needs to be moved might be small--when measured in millimeters. And that bodes well for the possibility of designing an operation that can get you happier with your nose. When that time comes, be positive sure that you see and have the opportunity to fine-tune morphs of the proposed outcome, so there is no question about what the goal of the operation is.

Everybody has varying degrees of nasal tip swelling at 6 months post-operative, and your current nasal tip appearance appears to be swollen and bulbous, and wider than what you started with. It is difficult to tell that you have had tip rotation or an alarplasty, based on your photos.
