I had a breast augmentation done 12 years ago (265cc), mostly for size but also the shape. I have puffy areolas, which gives the cone shape to my breasts. I'm getting another breast augmentation (adding 100-150cc), and my surgeon suggested a benelli lift to remove the puffy areolas. Will it help, and will it be permanent? Will it make the areolas bigger or smaller? I'd like them to be smaller if anything.
Answer: Areolae The areolae can be made smaller. However, when you are going larger, the areolae might stretch back out over time. they then could be revised under local anesthesia in the office if needed.

Answer: Mini lift with implant exchange The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, implants can be exchanged. Answer: Breast lift Dear Friendly859372, my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Breast lift Some benelli lifts turn out ok and others are terrible. In your case not worth the risk. I’ve seen to many bad scars
