They might mean well but the fact that they caused this also means that they really do not understand cosmetic eyelid surgery. Sadly that is all too common. I am in the business of fixing botched eyelid surgery. My message to you is that this is fixable/improvable. This is Post Upper Blepharoplasty Syndrome: High, hollow sulcus, high or absent upper eyelid crease, upper eyelid ptosis, compensatory eyebrow elevation, crepey eyelid platform skin, and eyelash ptosis. This causes the eye to appear more round rather than almond. Yes, it is possible to lower the upper eyelid crease and in many cases, reconstruct the upper eyelid fold. Please understand that this is highly specialized surgery. I honestly know no one else who is performing this work.
