Ptosis is a condition where the upper eyelids are droopy and can lead to a hollowed upper eyelid appearance after blepharoplasty. If you have any photos of your eyes before your surgery, look to see if there was any hollowing then. Although steroid drops can cause fat atrophy, there is only a small concentration of active steroid in the drops.Some surgeons remove fat during surgery. it is worth speaking to your surgeon to see if this happened. Hollowing can be addressed with filler or fat grafting. The results can be un-predicable in terms of longevity of contour improvement as well as patient satisfaction.

It appears that your scar is higher than it should be. Also, they may have taken out too much fat at the time of your blepharoplasty and that is what is giving you the sunken eye look. This is very difficult to correct but the scar can be corrected easily.
