I hate my nose and have always been self conscious. Open vs closed rhinoplasty? Dr's in the Toronto region solely completing closed rhinoplasty? Price range ?

Yes, closed rhinoplasty can remove a dorsal hump and allow for tip work, however, it is best to be evaluated by an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon.  At the time of consultation, you can clarify your goals and review imaging together to help ensure similar expectations of you 
  and your surgeon. My preference would be open rhinoplasty.

Not only can be, it has to be, your goals pose NO indication to open rhinoplasty approach; yours is a typical case for closed access.Give it a think to a sliding genioplasty in association to the nose job, aka profileplasty, would male an awesome combination.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your
photograph, you may benefit from a cephalic rotation of your tip to turn
up your tip slightly and a conservative dorsal hump reduction.   This can be done using a closed or open technique.  Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise.  Make sure you specifically look at before and after
pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon
and not just a computer animation system. The most important
aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek
consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate
you in person.

Based on your profile picture, if you were seeing me, I would likely consider a closed rhinoplasty.  Anything that can be done open can be done closed in the right hands.  Price range completely depends on the doctor, location, etc.

Closed rhinoplasty can certainly be used in my experience to address patients who have problems with the hump on the nose.  Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons. After seen your pics, we believe that a classical closed Rhynoplasty , should give the results that you are looking at. Your tip, your bridge and nasal bones needs to be worked.

Yes, the dorsal hump can be removed with the closed rhinoplasty procedure as well as lifting the tip slightly.  It is also  Important to  release the depressor septi ligament, if present, that pulls the tip down  when smiling.   A closed rhinoplasty procedure involves placement of all the incisions on the inside of the nose.  There is no external  incisions.   For more information,and  our current price list, please see the link and the video below  to our Closed Rhinoplasty Photo Gallery

The changes you desire can definitely be achieved through a rhinoplasty (you may also benefit from a small chin implant or sliding genioplasty). Whether the operation is closed or open is a choice you make with your surgeon and his/hers preferred technique. Either approach can be used to modify the nose and obtain similar results.

The hump can be removed and the nose shortened by lifting the tip using either the closed or open technique. If you're comfortable with an experienced surgeon go with whatever that individual recommends.
